Kässäkerho Pom Pom is a cozy yarn and fabric shop in Kuopio, Eastern-Finland and an online store too.
We carry a selection of our own hand dyed yarns as well as yarn and tools from brands from all over the world such as BC Garn, Filcolana, Gepard Garn, Holst Garn, Isager, Kremke Soul Wool, Lana Grossa, Lang Yarns, Regia, Retrosaria Rosa Pomar, Cocoknits and ChiaoGoo. We also sell linen, viscose and cotton fabrics plus selected sewing patterns from Merchant & Mills, Sew Liberated, Named and The Assembly Line.

ABOUT POM POM’S ONLINE STORE
This website is operated by Finnish yarn and fabric store Kässäkerho Pom Pom (VAT number FI25200922).
The products are ordered primarily from www.pompom.fi via the shopping cart. The items in your shopping cart are effectively reserved for you only after completing your order.
You must be at least 18 years old and provide a valid email address and phone number when making your order. You are responsible for giving us your accurate billing and shipping information.
All orders are confirmed by email and include the total price of the order, shipping costs and products ordered.
The customer agrees to the terms and conditions when placing an order. The version of terms that will apply to your order will be those on www.pompom.fi at the time you place your order.
All prices are shown in euros (€) and they include Finnish Value Added Tax (VAT) 24% or 10% but exclude shipping costs. If you are ordering from outside the European Union choosing your country at the cart or check out will show the prices without VAT.
All international customers are responsible for their country’s possible customs fees and duties.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY AND INFORMATION
If the product is in stock, the number of available items is shown below the item price (e.g. 3 varastossa = 3 in stock) or at the drop down menu (e.g. Saatavuus 2 kpl = Availability 2 pc). Items are sold individually, and the price is for one (1).
When ordering fabrics 1 item equals 10 cm of fabric. If you need 2 meters of fabric, add 20 items to the basket.
If you can’t add an item to cart, it is not in stock right now. You can sign up to be notified when an item or a certain color way gets restocked by leaving your email address at the product page.
Kässäkerho Pom Pom is not responsible for invalid price or stock information. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time.
The products listed in the online store are also available at our store in Kuopio, Finland. If a product you ordered has been sold out or is not in stock for other reasons, we will contact you as soon as possible and try to find a suitable replacement.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. Please note that the colors may look different on different devices and monitors.
Some of our yarn is hand dyed. Please note that all hand-dyed yarns, even from the same lot, may be different in their color saturation and color variation. When we ship yarns sold via our online store, we try to ensure every skein is from the same dye lot. If this is not possible we make sure that the skeins look as similar as possible.
We recommend striping for every hand-dyed yarn but especially for yarns from two different dye lots.
PLACING AN ORDER
You can place an order in our online store by adding products to the shopping cart (Ostoskori) and proceeding to the check out (Siirry kassalle). If you are ordering from outside the European Union choosing your country at the cart or check out will show the prices without VAT.
The items in your shopping cart are effectively reserved for you only after completing your order. After completing your order by checking out and paying, you will receive an order confirmation email to the email address given in the order form. You should check that the details in this order confirmation are correct, and keep a copy of it.
You will receive a confirmation of shipping via email once your order has been shipped.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY TIME
All orders will be dispatched only after confirmed payment. We aim to dispatch orders in the fastest possible time and in the order in which they are placed. We process and ship nearly all orders within 1–3 business day (often the same day) if all products ordered are in stock and unless otherwise agreed.
Delivery times are an estimate and not a guarantee. Campaigns, weekends, holidays and shipping delays due to the carrier may affect delivery time.
SHIPPING METHODS & COSTS
Shipping costs include the cost of shipping & packaging. All international orders are sent with DHL Express Worldwide which provides a fast, trackable and reliable delivery. Depending on your location your order will arrive within 1–5 days after we have packed and shipped it.
Customs forms are filled out in accordance with Finnish and international law to accurately reflect value and contents of the package. All international customers are responsible for any VAT, tariff, duty, taxes, handling fees, customs clearance charges, etc. required by your country for importing consumer goods. We do not collect this beforehand, and cannot give you an estimate of the cost – charges vary around the world.
If customs fees and charges are refused at the time of delivery, your order will be returned and you will not receive a refund for shipment and return costs. Also if the order cannot be shipped because of your country’s customs policy and therefore returned, we will not refund you the costs for shipping and returning the parcel.

We reserve the right to withhold delivery to any particular place or location at our sole discretion.
Due to BREXIT, UK orders are disabled on the online store at the moment. If you wish to place an order, please note that you need to do it by email at email@example.com and the order total has to be over £135 – approximately 160 € (excluding VAT). We are sorry for the inconvenience.
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling any of our obligations under a contract caused by events outside our reasonable control (”Force majeure”).
ADD TO AN EXISTING ORDER
You can add a product or products to your previous order until you receive the shipping confirmation email. In this case, select ‘Add product/s to an existing order: 0 €’ as the shipping method at checkout and enter the number of your original order in the comments field.
As a general rule, we pack orders on weekdays, so please check your email when you place an additional order to see if your original order has already been delivered.
If your order includes pre-order items (tag ’ENNAKKO’ on the item), we will process the order right after we have received it and reserve any other items you may have ordered. The order will wait for shipment until all ordered products are in stock.
The products/services and applicable shipping cost will be paid when placing the order. The following payment methods are accepted: PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, Finnish online banks (Osuuspankki, Nordea, Danske Bank, POP Pankki, Säästöpankki, Oma Säästöpankki, Ålandsbanken, Handelsbanken, Aktia and S-pankki), MobilePay, Pivo and Siirto.

Paytrail Plc acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized Payment Institution. Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant. For reclamations, please contact the website the payment was made to.

Separate PayPal invoice
If you are having any trouble with the payment email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We can send a separate PayPal invoice to your email if necessary. The billing surcharge for separate invoice is 5 €. The order will be shipped once the payment is received. We reserve the order for 7 days.
Gift card or discount code
Did you get a gift card or a discount code? You can enter the code at check out at ’Onko sinulla kuponki?’. Click to open, enter the code and click ’Käytä kuponki’.
You can buy gift cards from our online store or from our store in Kuopio and use them in both stores. The gift card can be used for paying for the products and it works with a code.
CANCELLATION AND RETURNS
Notify us immediately at email@example.com if you wish to cancel your order. All orders can be cancelled prior to fulfillment & shipment. Once your order is shipped, you will need to follow the instructions for returns.
To return any items from your order, notify us within 14 days of your received delivery at firstname.lastname@example.org. Tell us your name, order number and which items you are going to return. Send the items back within 14 days of notifying us about the cancellation.
All returned items must be unopened, unused, in original packing and with all the original labels in place. Yarn may not be made into a ball from a skein. Any items that have been in the presence of smoke cannot be exchanged.
We do not accept returns for fabrics cut to length or yarn dyed specially for you.

The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Please arrange for the parcel to be sent back via a carrier of your choice. Save a receipt or proof of postage, as Kässäkerho Pom Pom cannot be held responsible for any shipments lost in transit.
As soon as we receive and inspect the returned items, we will refund the price of your order, including shipping, via the original method of payment.
Please note that failing to pick up your package is not considered to be a cancelled order. If you fail to pick up your package and want us to ship it again we will charge new shipping cost and an additional billing charge of 3,90 €. You have an option to cancel the order, but we will not refund the shipping cost.
We only exchange goods if they are defective or damaged. In circumstances where you consider that a product is defective, you should promptly contact us at email@example.com with details of the product and the defect. You can send the item you consider defective to:

Upon receipt of the returned product, we will fully examine it and notify you via email, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a replacement as a result of the defect. If you are eligible, we will send you a replacement product.
CANCELLATION BY US
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if:
1) we have insufficient stock to deliver the items you have ordered and can’t find a suitable replacement
2) we do not deliver to your area
3) one or more items you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers
If we do cancel the contract we will notify you by email and we will refund the price of your order, including shipping, via the original method of payment as soon as possible but in any event within 14 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
PROBLEMS WITH DELIVERY OR FAULTY PRODUCTS
Please check the condition of items immediately upon receiving your package. Should you not receive your package or if an item was damaged in transport or if the item ordered is faulty, contact us immediately by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. If the package was damaged in transport, a claim must also be made with the shipping company.
The online orders are picked and shipped by hand by our shop staff. Customer service and efficiency are valued in our shop, but unfortunately mistakes do happen sometimes. We are very sorry if we sent you a wrong item or an item is missing. We kindly ask you to contact us immediately and we will handle the case and ship you the right item without additional charges.

The following terms apply when your order is shipped to an address in Finland.

Orders can also be picked up from our shop in Kuopio (choose ’Nouto Kuopion myymälästä’ at the check out). You will get an email when your order is ready to be picked up.
By placing an order with us you agree to these terms. The completion of the contract will take place on the dispatch to you of the goods ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it. The contract will relate only to the goods stated in the order confirmation. We will not be obliged to supply any other goods, which may have been in your order until you receive an email confirming those goods.
We reserve the right to amend these terms from time to time without prior notice to you.
We do not disclose customer information to any third parties. Registered customers will be emailed by Pom Pom from time to time, with news about the shop unless they opt out of this service. The newsletter is available only in Finnish at the moment.
In these terms and conditions the following words shall have the meanings given in this section:
’Kässäkerho Pom Pom’, ’Pom Pom’, ’Us’ or ’We’ means Kässäkerho Pom Pom, trading from the address Puijonkatu 24, 70110 Kuopio, Finland.
’You’ means the person placing the order in the terms set out herein.
’Items’, ’Items’, ’Product’, ’Products’ or ’Goods’ means any goods and/or material supplied by us to you and available for sale on this website or at our shop.
’Contract’ means the set of web pages completed by the customer, which provide details of goods required, customer delivery address, payment card details, etc, and which incorporate the terms and conditions set out herein, and is concluded by us dispatching the goods to you.
